07 Apr 2009 My daughter wants a tattoo….part 3

Okay!!! One fun thing I got to do last week amongst all the hospital stuff is go with my oldest daughter to get her tattoo finished! Poor thing, she was so nervous as she wasn’t very well after her first sitting and was worried about how it would all go. She ended up with the flu or something the Monday after her first appointment so that may have had something to do with how she did, I really don’t know!

Where we left off!

Where we left off!

This time it was just the two of us (which I think is better :) ) and I told her she’d do just fine, just concentrate, get in the zone and be tough! She really did great! It only took an hour for him to finish it and as he was just getting over being sick with the flu the previous week so he was just tattooing and not chatting too much which was good I think.

Doing great, hardly seemed to bother her this time!

She was just so excited to get it done, very pleased with how it looks and because it went so well…..maybe another someday down the line! And for me, it was just fun to be a part of it, so often kids do these kinds of things on their own or with friends and come home and say….”Look what I did!”

All done! Looks great!

All done! Looks great!

So, now that it’s all done let us know what you think!
Enjoy the beautiful sunshine today. Cheers!

OMG!! She went all out for her first one, just like her mommy!! That is awesome! Getting a tattoo on and around the mid-section really makes you focus on how in shape you are, so tell her she’ll better enjoy doing crunches, I still do them everyday as to not let any of my sunshine rays become saggy! Haha!
